Feltprint
Privacy Policy
Feltprint is a hand recorder and AI coach for live poker players. This policy explains what information the Feltprint iOS app and its backend service collect, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. Feltprint is currently in beta.
The short version
- We collect what you type into the app, plus the minimum needed to sign you in and send notifications.
- Your hands are sent to AI model providers to generate reviews.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking. The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.
- You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a user identifier and an email address from that provider. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive a relay address instead of your real one. We don't receive your Apple or Google password.
Content you create. Everything you enter in the app: sessions (date, stakes, venue, game type), hand histories (cards, positions, stacks, actions, results), your notes on hands, notes and reads you record about other players at your table, questions you ask the AI coach and its answers, and feedback you give on reviews.
Device information. If you allow notifications, a push-notification token for your device, so we can tell you when a review is ready.
Technical information. Our servers keep standard logs of requests (such as IP address, time, and the endpoint called) for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifier.
How we use it
- To provide the app: store your sessions and hands and show them back to you.
- To generate AI reviews and answer your follow-up questions.
- To send the notifications you've allowed.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse (for example rate limiting), and diagnose and improve the quality of AI reviews.
AI processing
To review a hand, we send the hand history and the related context you've entered (your notes on the hand and relevant player notes) to large language models through OpenRouter, which routes requests to model providers such as Google, Anthropic and OpenAI. They process this content to generate the review and return it to us, under their API terms. We don't use your content for advertising.

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if required by law.
Notes about other players
Feltprint lets you record reads and notes about people you play against. Please keep these to observations about play, avoid recording sensitive personal details about others, and use this feature in line with the law where you play. These notes are stored in your account, are visible only to you, and are included in AI requests when relevant to a hand.
Where information is stored
Our database and backend run in the United States. By using Feltprint you understand your information will be processed there.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and the content you created are deleted from our database. Diagnostic records of AI requests are kept for a limited time, typically 14 days and at most 180 days. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correction and export: most of your information is visible and editable in the app. Email us for a copy of your data.
- Deletion: email us from the address linked to your account and we'll delete your account and its content. In-app account deletion is coming before Feltprint's public release.
- Notifications: you can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us to exercise them.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and data in the database is scoped to each account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if a problem occurs.
Age
Feltprint is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
No gambling
Feltprint is a record-keeping and learning tool. It doesn't offer real-money gambling, wagering, or any game of chance.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
